Living ion Hwy 97 and seeing some slipping and sliding today, I pray that people will stay off the road tomorrow when the prediction is as bad if not worse conditions than today. The bridges in the entire area are enough to make it unlawful for anyone to travel this way unless absolutely necessary. I cannot believe this school superintendent is allowing school to be open. It is too dangerous for those busses to be on the road, Maybe it is time for a change.

I agree with EP. They tell us that the planet is overheating, yet we get this record freeze. We even had ice a few years ago.

Re: EP, You are confusing Climate Science with a weather event. Global Climate Science is about the long term trends and what they tell us. One of those things being the extreme swings in weather events around the world. Like this cold snap or a drought or floods etc..,

There is a difference between climate change and weather pattern. Weather is typically a few days or weeks of a certain pattern in one area, while climate, is measured over decades and also measured globally. Weather is like mood vs personality. Someone’s mood (weather) may change frequently and sometimes drastically, while personality is long term (climate). If you do a little research you will find that most of the rest of the world is warmer than average at this time and the US is in a deep freeze due to the polar vortex dipping down. Simple science. Not sure why it is so hard for people to understand.

made it from bratt to bayminette this morning, it was scary. I wish they would go back to Al Gore and get him and every other elected Democratic that believes in global warming/ climate change and give them at least 10 years in prison for ignorance, how stupid are they in thinking God needs help from something as frale as a pitiful man to protect the climate lol
