I’ve only received someone else’s mail a handful of times. Not bad considering how many mail deliveries I’ve received in 66 years. Privatizing is not the answer to every problem.

The post office is one of my best friends. I buy Forever Christmas stamps but during the year it doesn’t matter to me, I just buy pretty, Whichever matches the envelopes best..

I ordered two separate items from a Knoxville, TN, company on Jan 4, 2018. Both packages were shipped USPS on 1/5/18; one package finally arrived Thursday, 1/18/18, but was delivered to the house across the street. I have yet to receive the second item. It’s sitting in Jacksonville! I signed up for Informed Delivery; however, it is not telling me anything. Postage keeps going up but the service does not get any better. Postal service needs to be private-owned, non-union business and not subsidized by the government (which is our money, so we are actually paying more for postage). Those who cannot do the job need to be fired and lose those premium benefits that the rest of us are doing without.

USPS sure saves my family a lot of troubles in paying bills to far away places, saves time, fuel cost and wear and tear on the mule.
Stamps have always been a bargain to us.
