I live in north cantonment. N hate driving in to nine mile rd. Where tons of growing n construction. Is going on to get my monthly needs filled. I actually hate shopping walmart. But my RX. N phone card I must buy there. And also. If wally world heads this way. Others follow as eats n extras. Which can be good n crowding starts. You learn to adjust n then DIE! Lol sorry I getting older n know its inevitable. Dont fight it unless its toxic. Truthfully. If I had the $ I would buy golf course n put DRIVE-IN -MOVIES. ! N some small shops like ice cream. Movies n videos. N coffee shop n trinkets 4 all ages like dollar tree type but fun stuff!! Lol.

I would recommend a Sears store on the golf course site. I enjoyed them so much when I was little. They could have a snack bar.

No I can’t imagine looking at clay roads for a motocross track. I agree this area needs a motocross track but further North will be suitable for that.

No stores constructed at this site PERIOD. The land is too beautiful to destroy for stores and parking lots. Keeping my fingers crossed that this golf course will remain a golf course. They need a business minded person to take over and run it as a golf course. Leave the grass and trees please.

There are so many golf courses not staying in business these days. I’m afraid that you won’t find many takers for this course.

If the course is not leased or sold to a prospective buyer wanting to own a golf course, I hope IP will just mow and trim and keep it beautiful.

All you people in Walnut Hill, Bratt, Oak Grove must know we have a grocery store where you do not have to pay taxes in Alabama and that is Piggly Wiggly at Davisville. Their specials cannot be beat and compare prices. They are not far off. Drive on to WallMart if you must but their prices there are high and then tax on top of that. I hate Wall Marts. They are trying to take over the world!

Bring it on. We’ve recently made the decision to sell the property that my grandfather built on and that family has lived on since the 1940’s. Bring back the days when Harlen Johnson’s Supermarket ran the corner in Molino, I’d stay. Besides, we have the Yankee’s, yuppies, and transplants running things and taking over anyway. Mr.Holder closing the bait store did it for me. No telling what’ll come. With the Beulah Beltway coming, it’ll turn into Beulah with over ten neighborhoods currently building homes in. Walnut Hill or Jay it’ll be. It’ll be like bringing Ensley to Molino. No thanks.

Also the bypass will be a good thinges in the long run. It’s sad some will lose their property but the bypass makes sense for escambia county. I say NO to Walmart at the golf course land!

The way I understand it is that the golf course must stay a golf course. It was a deal with the employee’s of the paper mill years ago… yes I believe the land could be used for something else that would bring some more jobs to Cantonment but it mostlikey
