I have reduced my cigarette smoking to 1/3 since I started using e-cigs. There are over 4000 parts in a cigarette that are carcinogenic. E-cigs has only a handful and in those, only minute amounts, predominantly nicotine. In e-cigs, there is NO tar which is the main attribute that causes harm. And moreover, no 2nd hand tobacco smoke to harm others. Many people use them to completely quit smoking which is a great thing. Many use it to reduce smoking which is a great thing as well. Bottom line, it does not harm others. I don't drink.and it's none of my business if you do. You aren't harming me. I have concluded that some people could be offended by anything and everything if it gives them attention. I'm waiting for door to slam on attending a church or walking without shoes on. If passed, here is the unintended consequence of such action.......the resident cost will skyrocket till no one can afford the rates anymore, leaving thousands of elderly with NO care and NOWHERE to go. Having liability insurance would be a magnet for lawyers as Reed stated. Does abuse occur? Yes, but having an avenue to financially ruin nursing homes is not the answer.
