Things like this is why everyone should back up their memory cards. I am notorious for not doing it, either, but we have to remember that not only do we have to be concerned with loss or theft, but also those cards can become corrupt. If we back them up on discs on “in the clouds,” they will be there for us after unfortunate incidents like this. I hope the thief will at least return the card to the owners.

I hope you have better luck getting your cameras back than my daughter did. My daughter and her husband took some photos at Pensacola Beach one afternoon. They stopped in to eat at McGuire’s Pub. My daughter’s purse was drapped over the chair arm and the camera inside a bag was in her purse. While in there they viewed some of the photos. When they got home, the camera was no longer there. Someone sitting near them performed a pick-pocket and stole the camera. They noticed the waiter acting strange and whispering with 2 guys at the table next to them. They called McGuire’s and spoke with the waiter and of course he knew nothing.They checked all the pawn shops in the area and turned up nothing. All their wedding photos, honeymoon and current photos were gone. It seems like a life time of memories are no longer with you. People don’t have hearts, they are all about the price they can get out something. I’m praying you get your cameras back. Have a Blessed Day.
