The ticket is inconsequential to the incident and to the finger-pointing here. If the FHP, or, probably, the ECSO or SRCSO, is called to a wreck somebody is going to get a ticket for something so the FHP (or the Sheriff’s Department?) can make money on the incident. If nothing else, somebody is going to be cited for careless driving so the money can be made. A dab here, a dab there, every accident — there’s a financial mountain of little dabs being collected every day.

He has been driving for about 35 years and this is his first accident. I am glad he is not injured. With God as his co-pilot and his seat belt he was able to walk away. BUCKLE UP PEOPLE. And pray

Correct, flipping a Truck is generally deadly. Unfortunately, we don’t fully know the circumstances and while the driver could have been distracted, he could have easily been trying to avoid a crash with another vehicle. Commercial vehicles are too often blamed for accidents when in fact most commerical vehicle crashes are the result of the actions of non-commercial vehicles ….im sure this driver had a camera and hopefully it will show otherwise….in the meantime, watch the court docket as I highly suspect that ticket will be reduced from careless.

I wasn’t negligence the road was to narrow and the driver was making sure he wasn’t in the other lane the shoulder had a steep drop off which over turned the truck thank God he wasn’t hurt

D.O.T. needs a stronger presence in our area. A lot of truck drivers not all drive our highways way too fast. Glad the driver was ok but ticket appears to be well deserved.

Thank goodness the driver wasn’t transporting anything hazardous. I am glad to hear he wasn’t seriously hurt.

I couldn’t even imagine being in this situation. Trying to figure out how you can flip a truck and tralior and sit it perfectly on its roof. Driver is lucky he has no serious injurys that cab is crushed pretty bad on driverside.

It says the driver of the truck was not seriously injured. Glad to hear it. Though, it looks ugly from the photos.
