Instead of repaving the same old four lane Hwy 29 north of I10, they need to 6 lane it all the way to Atmore cutoff.

It would be nice if they could resurface Greenberry Drive (only 1/2 mile long) while they are here in Cantonment. The heavy garbage trucks , and school busses the county drives on our road is what has caused all the potholes. They aught to be responsible for repairing roads they have damaged, or keep off of them all together. We pay taxes for roadwork too, but have not had any repairs in the last 30 years other than at our private expense!

It is becoming more and more difficult to get to anywhere in Molino or Pensacola from Walnut Hill. Why resurface anywhere while all of these bridges are closed? It is good that dangerous bridges are being made safe, but why go and do something that will slow traffic down even more, before at least one bridge is finished? Just do not understand.

More chaos for the 9th Avenue area! But if they are really interested in fixing Hwy 29 they ought to fix the disaster of the west-side of 29 south from Molino its an accident waiting to happen. Why doesn’t the Dept of Trans get a warranty from the company which was supposed to have fixed it several years ago and now its
all pot holes driving south on 29. Not good, but what did we expect from the
government – quality work? I don’t think so. Doesn’t the state have quality control inspections on the work performed? Yeah, right….

Playing catch up on road and highway infrastructure could have been avoided a long time ago. Sorry folks there is not a damn thing we can do about it. Higher cost for repairs, longer delays for motorists. A dread sitting in traffic at all of the choke points created by all of it . Just get it the hell done…

The money would have been better spent on an overpass at the paper mill than just resurfacing a road. It is obvious that our great leaders don’t live in the north end of the county and have to put up with long delays at the railroad tracks.

There are enough accidents on Hwy 29 without this news. Let’s tear up another road and get the insurance rates up even higher with twice as many wrecks. What a plan, but they will never admit it.
