Only to be forced to either back-up or find someones driveway to complete a u-turn. The fun really begins at dusk until the following work day, as many jeep drivers, motorcyclist, 4-wheel drive trucks will also attempt to drive thru the closure - even if it means driving thru some homeowners yard - in order to avoid having to use the detour route. Apparently, many people dont understand "Local access only" generally means driveway access for homeowners and not "if you are a local driver you can still cut thru the work zone". Florida statute 316.078(2b) makes it a moving violation to drive around any barricade erected for the purpose of closing any section of a public street or highway to traffic that is under construction or repair or driving over such section of public street or highway until open to public traffic.. A law Enforcement agency could easily handout 100+ tickets each day just sitting and watching drivers enter and being forced to retreat from the work zone.
