Took me 15 minutes to get from the flag man to turn right onto Jacks Branch. No traffic from any direction for 15 minutes. Just me and the people lining up behind me and of course the flag man. Why on earth are you preventing incoming traffic from Jacks Branch? There’s nothing going on in there and it’s a merge? I’m not being paid like the flag guy, I just want to go home.

I’ve lived on Jack’s Branch Rd for 40-odd years. It has always been a speedway with a higher than average crash rate. Heck, I had a rollover wreck myself near River Annex many years ago.

But something really needs to be done about the detoured traffic using the road. 18-wheelers of every description blasting through at high rates of speed, jake braking (?) because they’re going too fast.

I know we all have to deal we the inconveniences of infrastructure improvements, but I also think that Escambia County Sheriff’s Dept and the Florida Highway Patrol need to establish a presence on Jack’s Branch before somebody else gets killed because folks unfamiliar with the road put everyone else in danger.

drive down Jacks Branch Road now also… so many semi-trucks and lots more traffic flying down our road… gotta love when they decide to do roadwork and they are doing it all around this area right now… Highway 29 from 9 mile to Muscogee, also there is roadwork on Muscogee near the paper mill… roadwork all up and down 9 mile road…. and now this…. there are only so many ways to our house and most are now under construction… guess our country living just got louder while all the traffic is rerouted…

Debbie : Drive up to hwy 196 if want see increase in traffic. Also, you’re
fortunate regarding your 30/35 mph speed limit……the County brainiacs have
west 196 @ 55 mph and you prolly know it’s 60/65 for most. Log trucks by
triple digits…..school buses….and traffic whizzing by. Taking a walk on the side
of the road ain’t a walk in the park !

Why is the barricade set up at the fork of the road , when the construction is starting at Carlisle Rd.; How are all the people that live between the fork and Carlisle Rd. suppose to get in and out from their homes? Some one needs to set these barricades up properly.

Your barricades on Muscogee Road near Jacks Branch Road need re-positioning. I live just beyond that point. I will NOT drive in the ditch just to get my vehicles past there. If the responsible company don’t move them, then I will. Get er’ done !

Explains all the extra, extra traffic on our end of West Kingsfield Rd. People need to remember we are a residential area with a very narrow road . Speed limit is 30 to 35 mph not the 40 to 55 mph that you are doing. Slow down !!!!!!! Respect the people that live on this road!,
