Wow I was personally friends with a Brian so it’s crazy scrolling down my fb feed and seeing this. He is one of the most brilliant and creative people I know, but after he got in trouble in school this one time I remember feeling like oh no you have so much going for your but you’re getting a bit too involved in this drug life and that’s gonna come back and bite you in the butt. He just really needs to find himself and I hope he does. The dude has aspirations but he’ll only properly be able to persue them if he leads a clean life but I don’t know his personal life and everyone has a reason for thinking what they’re doing is okay. Sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom.

None of us live in glass houses so we should not throw stones. Brian made some bad choices, but it does not make him a bad person. I’ll be thinking of him and hoping he turns his life around when this is done. Hang in there, kitten.

To all who may not know who he is, don’t even bother commenting your opinion. He made a poor decision and is paying for it. We ALL have made bad decisions, some have gotten caught, some haven’t. He’s a good guy, I went to school with him. He’s young and will get passed this and hopefully learn from it. Just because you were one of the lucky few who didn’t get caught making a bad decision, doesn’t give you the right to judge someone who has, especially if you don’t know them personally. You can’t judge him off of his charges. He is NOT the only one in this world doing what he’s doing, so stop treating him like he is. The jail is over crowded, he will most likely get felony probation, we’ll see you soon man, free you!

If you think the streets are safer now then you don’t know the streets work like a hydra.. Cut off one head, another one grows in its place. If you think lives were saved, then you don’t have common sense. If you injected heroin regularly do you think you would stop because 1 of your dealers got busted? Nah. You’d be working overtime to find some new score, and probably over-bang when you get it because you’ve been waiting so long. Some of these opinions make it obvious some people don’t know what the war on drugs is all about.

The arrest probably saved his life and other lives as well that he would have been responsible for. An addict is not the same person you knew prior to their addiction, Though they may be saved by the consequences of the arrest. Jail will bring a temporary sobriety giving him a chance to recover and probation if he gets it, will bring the drug tests that may keep him clean for the time he is on probation. NA is his best hope and Al-Anon would be the best help for his parents to get the correct support from those who have been and are in their positions, So that they are not used for the rest of their lives to enable him. All easier said than done. For the sake of the parents, I hope it works out this way. Sad for the parents and those who care.
Bail him out of jail and you and he could be in the same position when he is 50.
