micky was my partner for 18 years , i am still and probably will never get over his death. He was an awesome man. I first met mick in st pete when he he was on vacation. we lived at the sabine yacht club for a while then moved to kendall ave. ive been so depressed ever since his passing. its extremely hard to lose someone that you loved so much. Im forever heart broken…rip bubba , I will always love you.

I just learned over Micky’s death and I am heart broken over Micky’s death. I spoke to him 2 or 3 weeks before his death and he didn’t sound well. He expressed that he intended to go to Pensacola for the summer. Micky, Gray, Tim and I travelled all over North America and Mexico for several summers. He was an important part of my life and I will always be grateful for the interest that he showed in me. We lost touch for 15-20 years but we renewed our friendship about 10 years ago. We remained in contact and visited with each other several times. I will miss my friend and will think of him often. He was a gentleman, great teacher, and most of all, a valued friend.

Mickey had a warm heart and great wit. He cared deeply about his students. I’m sad to hear of his passing.

Micky was a close friend of mine during our high school years at Ernest Ward. Our group of friends had many good times together. Although I never saw him after graduation, I never forgot him. He has a special place in my heart.
