I get it. But no one is asking why. Yes, it does matter. I am not talking about the sentence. I am asking why he committed the offense. We don't know the circumstances. He could have been emotionally and physically abused at home. It is wrong to assume he was taking drugs. He has already been before the judge. It is not up to us to judge him. It is up to us to help him. I understand your anger. We must also have compassion. By the way, most prisons are for-profit meaning shareholders get a piece of our tax dollars.
