Mr.Creel and I was in lock down together, he gave me very encouraging words, I pray God sees him through his situation we prayed and read our bibles, spoke on how the bible is life. He seems to be handling everything ok and he continues his medication for PTSD. I knew he was a VET by talking to hum because my father served. He also trained me in a few nice fighting moves. Overall, God has his hands on Mr.Creel

Mr. O'Rear, have you taken into consideration the overall spiritual warfare going on and on until the King of Kings sets all in order? The countries that have "with the lowest percentages of citizens participating in religious faith (countries like Japan, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark) have the lowest violent crime rates on the planet. (and) Even within our own country, least theistic states tend to fare better than their counterparts" are places the enemy of God does NOT have to work so hard!
The most theistic areas are the battlefield where the enemy wages war so as to bring down the name of Christ and hinder His Kindgom work. "There is a way that seems right unto man, but the end thereof leads to destruction."

Hopefully Brannon will learn his lesson after spending a few months in jail. I say a few months, because our justice system is cracked up. You don't harass your estranged family and torment your children by setting their home on fire. That domestic violence injunction is often ignored as in this situation. Prayers for this family.

Opinions aside, here's some facts: domestic violence injunction in place, obviously lying to LEO's, and most likely an arsonist - the safety of the children and mother should be paramount he should not own a firearm based on his violent behavior toward his own family. Behind bars is his own personal choice.

Ben Franklin tracked his positive and negative behaviors in a diary, marking each of his negative or sinful behaviors with a black dot. Bringing an update to his journal, scientist tracked over 1200 people using an app on their smart phone. They tracked their sins and good deeds. This new data confirmed what psychologist had already believed and predicted… religious and nonreligious individuals are equally prone to committing immoral acts. To further my point, Donald, studies show that faith and goodness are not necessarily connected. Further data on crime rates and societies around the world show the democratic countries with the lowest percentages of citizens participating in religious faith (countries like Japan, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark) have the lowest violent crime rates on the planet. Even within our own country, least theistic states tend to fare better than their counterparts. I know good people of faith and bad people of faith. It is likely that you do, too. I know good people who are atheist or agnostic, and bad people of similar thought. I'm pretty sure you do, too. I fully understand the point you are making, Donald. If strictly adhered to, the teachings of the Christian faith produce virtuous people. I agree, and I speak from a point of experience because I am a Christian. Alas, we are humans and we suffer from failings, often major, harmful failings. I wager if the following virtues were adhered to, we would live in a better world: Patience, kindness, honesty, self-control, courage, love, respect, responsibility, fairness, compassion, empathy, understanding, generosity, don't clown around electricity, frugality, integrity. Let us all hope (and pray?) that everything works out for this family. Peace and love, y'all! I hope everyone has a great day!

Amen Donald

The amazing thing is that even as bad as we get, God still loves us.
God will help, when we are willing to admit we need His help and repeat and ask for it.
