last year the schools who were not on the list for free meals had higher prices than the year before. Someone always ends up paying for the “free” part

Molino park sent home an updated menu and it seems they don’t get much of a selection as they did before . I would rather pay for my child to have a selection than to have it free .. Probably a good idea to send their lunch.

Fredaa, it is not about children eating or us paying for it. It is about parents, that can easily affordit, that are too lazy to get up in the mornings and fix lunch and breakfast for their kids. I am not talkig about your exceptions because there are always exceptions to everything.

If all the parents at the schools that did not get approved would apply you would see change. People would be surprised just try the worst is they say no. But you might still get reduced priced even if not free. These are children people get mad about feeding children. But there are other things to get mad at like why won’t the utility companies cut the trees off the lines? Why does no one put as much complaining into something like that as the do about a child eating.

Every child in very school should get free meals. There is no reason with the abundance of food we throw away for school kids to be charged for meals. Kids learn so much by sharing a table, by getting new and different foods to eat, and by having their stomachs full so their brains will work!!
