Yep, that's why they are incarcerated, prejudice against the handicapped. There is evidence most are there for committing crimes against others and were found guilty DESPITE pity for their suffering. Calling people "holier than thou" is sarcasm like that above, since most posters here actually ARE better behaved than your run-of-the-mill inmate. They probably resent being preyed upon and then forced to pay for benefits hey might also need but be unable to afford. I'm not resentful but can certainly see why others might be, especially when you blame the unconvicted for any future crimes they choose to commit with the "Treat them like animals… and they will come back out into society as animals."
