That’s crazy, a boy murders my friend and he gets a 6 year manslaughter charge cause it was an “accident” and here again this accident goes without proper judicial review

I am very confused by this report. How is it NOT criminal to violate traffic law, resulting in the death of a child on a bicycle in a marked bicycle lane? Not that it really matters to the child, or probably her family, but just curious. I pray her family will find comfort from God as they grieve.

That man ran a stop sign and killed a precious little girl who was in her bike lane….and he wasn’t charged with manslaughter!!!!
Ridiculous. Unbelievable.

god bless the family.this man does have to live with this the rest of his life.if he was drunk or on drugs they would have known it. if not charged then the officer proved he was just another man that made a mistake.i feel for the family so much and make they have peace oneday.

This doesn’t make sense to me. It seems like he should be charged with involuntary manslaughter. The little girl was in a marked bicycle lane. He ran a stop sign & hit her. One would think if he had stopped at the stop sign he would have had plenty of time to notice her on her bike and avoid her! Please be careful driving around areas where children are present. I had a group of teenage joggers run in front of my vehicle a while back but I was prepared to stop because I had slowed when I saw them on the side of the road. They were startled when they saw my car after crossing the road without looking, but thankfully, we all continued on our way with no injuries.
