Further, it isn't "Hurricane" insurance, it is insurance against things like flooding, wind damage -- maybe even sinkholes. It is not for profit, so they just try to raise enough money to pay off claims without charging the rest of us who don't live in such dangerous places. Further, it isn’t “Hurricane” insurance, it is insurance against things like flooding, wind damage — maybe even sinkholes. It is not for profit, so they just try to raise enough money to pay off claims without charging the rest of us who don’t live in such dangerous places.
