It is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs at the intersection of Neal Road/Hwy 29 and the Dollar General Store.

People speed in an out of the store parking lot and onto Hwy 29,with traffic approaching at 65+ miles per hour.

I am of the opinion that the speed limit needs to be lowered to 45mph on 29 and possibly a red light added? I hate red lights, but it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed at that intersection.

If you drive that why all the time then u know it’s still gonna be there. And like I tell my children it isn’t always how good you can drive you have to drive for others our there that’s way it’s call defensive of driving. Need to preach it to them everyday and some accidents wouldn’t happen…praying for you all

I pass through this intersection 3-4 times a week. Going west it’s hard to determine how close you are to the actual intersection. The county needs to hang a flashing llight there instead of relying on the wimpy light on the stop sign.
This accident was bad but could have been a lot worse. Poor kids – traumatic way to start their summer vacation.

Another example of people who refuse to obey traffic laws. Sudden stops from excessive speed will do it every time.

I still see drivers NOT STOPPING AT THE STOP SIGN. Drivers please be patient and stop at the stop sign. I hope the injured have a speedy recovery.

This is a really bad intersection. Very hard to see the stop sign on kingsfield coming from the west. People fly down this road all hours of the day and night. I have had people pass me while going threw this intersection at 5 am. I pray these people will heal quickly. Be safe out there.
