To blame the child is absurd. If the Sheriffs Department felt there was enough video evidence of excessive force, there absolutely must have been. Plus if Blankenship falsified an incident report, he knew he was in the wrong. There is alot going on in that jail that people don’t know anything about.

@Matchbox: I agree. I’m sure the youth was probably being difficult and losing one’s cool is understandable. However, instead of just owning up to it, he lied about it in his report. Any LEO or CO knows that there is bound to be video of any incident like this. To file paperwork that differs from the video version is asking for it. Best of luck to the officer.

And I’m sure this kid was corporative in every way…poor thing..that’s what is wrong with this country we raising a bunch of hoodlums cause the parents can’t correct the child with out going to jail themselves
