If what Michael said is true you now have rest of the story. I see individuals crossing in the middle of the street at dusk and night all the time. I myself have almost hit individuals. It doesn’t take long for a car traveling 45 mph to reach someone crossing the street. Please folks take the extra time and go to the cross walk.

This didn’t happen in the city but rather the county. Currently the county is not building in monuments. There is a lighted crosswalk are at the intersection but these folks chose to cross in a dark area with very low visibility. Tragic for sure but a extra minute to walk to the well lit intersection and crossing the street this tragedy may have been avoided.

Sean and my husband were good friends when we lived in Pensacola his family and his fiancé were so kind and welcoming. It’s such a tragedy and we are going to miss him can’t believe the last time we spoke would be the last time.

First let me say I’m sorry and praying for all individuals involved in this tragic accident. No matter how you were brought up has no bearing on this accident . I do a lot of walking and I never step in front of a vehicle as drivers are distracted and will hit you. All it takes is one small distraction for a millisecond and this is the outcome.

Sean M. Harris was a fine young man who knew more about bike,running and walking safety then anyone I know. He grew up on Eglin AFB with his father teaching him every thing about all sports and safety first. There is something missing in this story about how this really happened. Sean was also a Veteran who served in the Navy and an up standing person who had a bright future ahead of him. What really happened????????

If the people that handled the city’s money would build sidewalks instead of monuments and other things that are a waste of money,Less folks would be in morgues or hospitals,Not everyone in the rip off state of Florida can afford transportaion
