I understand the idea behind prohibiting the use of alcohol at certain time s and or places. But, I've never understood the idea behind it while outdoors in our recreational areas in Florida. To me it seems an easy cop-out, reason to be lazy and not patrol as much. If people act out or litter you do as needed, write tickets and or arrest em if needed. Not far to the responsible American. I've always followed the rules and will respect the decision of our leaders in this great country but, doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. It is the fourth of July, it is about freedom. Imagine that, can't have a beer or two in a responsible manner. I don't drink once or twice a year. So this year will be one less time. Funny thing is, the ones that these laws are meant for...still drink at these sites. So patrol less folks, all them law-abiding citizens won't pop or Crack a few dozen open until you leave or before you get to their areas of unresposibale binging. Littering our great state, our great country, poisoning the next generations to come. One rotten apple, only runes the bunch if you keep it in the same bushel as all the others. We have become a lazy nation, in need of trimming the Christmas fat!!!

No alcoholic beverages but beer cans can be found all over the place. At times you can smell it by the water. We need better patrol over there.

I agree with the parking situation as well. Very small parking lot and it would be best to have a truck or SUV to get to the area.
