It’s always a shock to learn of such a tragedy. My heart is heavy. I haven’t seen Rod for quite a while but out of the blue he called me at work not too long ago to say I’d been on his mind lately and how I was such a great part of his life. He was being so sincere that I asked him if he was sick or something and he laughed (you all know that laugh) and said he just wanted me to know how much I meant to him. Thanks Rod, I’m glad you made that phone call to me. I know you love Jesus and it must be awesome to be in his company now. God Bless you Rod and all your family and friends.

Rod was a great guy.I have known Rod for a few years now. My heart is broken. A wonderful sweet guy I will miss a lot. I just can’t believe it’s true. Rod you will always be a special guy. Prayers to the family.

Rod and his good brother Don and I have been friends since the the late seventies! Rod always had a positive outlook on anything that would come our way! I will miss all the good times we have had together. The concerts and get together are too numerous to list! I’ll miss his smile and his off the wall kind of humor! I seen Rid last Christmas we had. One home to visit. It was a great time together! Rod my friend and fellow oldies rock lover, you will be missed by many! Say hi to my dad and Steve Rhodes for me! I will see you in Heavennone day!!

I knew Rod since we were young and he was one of my favorite people, and fun to be around. I’m glad we spent some time together riding and at Church before he left Ohio for work in California. Hope to see you again some day brother.

Rest in Peace my good friend Rodney Logan. We had some wild fun times when we were in school and when you lived in North Lima, but in the end your heart was set on God and you did a lot of good work for many. I know where you are. I’ll be there to see you someday.

I just learned of Rod’s passing from a Y-103 listener. This is a real heartbreaker. Rod was a truly kind man..and he enjoyed harassing me at Y-103..in a truly fun way. He loved Bob Seger.

Rod, you have “Turned the Page” . May you ride on..”Against the Wind” in the house of the Lord. Rock & Roll …and Lynn Davis…will never forget you.

I had only recently met Rod. He was my neighbor (a few doors down) in my new neighborhood. You could tell instantly that he was a man of God. To his family and long term friends, I am so sorry for your loss; my prayers are with you.

Rod was president of our Homeowners Association. He cared very much about keeping our neighborhood pristine and picture perfect. There was always a smile on his face. You will be deeply missed my friend. You are in God’s arms now.

We are all deeply saddened by Rodney’s passing,
Although we are taking it very hard , I find myself thinking of how many times he brought laughter and happiness to so many , as my mom sat crying for our cousin I made her laugh by doing rods impression of “the big fig Newton” and we all laughed and remembered the sparkle in his eye and that beautiful smile . We are all so blessed to have him in our lives for the time that we did . His big heart and big smile will always be remembered.
