It is great that the consumers of this sick product are brought to justice, but why not destroy the sources; regardless of the diplomatic/political fallout. These people need to be brought to realize, that they are not above the laws of God and man.

Thanks for nothing justice system the only thing that will come of his incarceration is that he will be able to hone his craft.

Unfortunately, the “web” that you have come to know is a small fraction of what is actually out there. It’s the only part of the internet that is indexed by DNS servers…about 4 percent or so.
The rest is generally split up into the deep web and dark web. This part of the internet isn’t indexed by google or anyone else, but it’s there in IP address form. The deep web is generally harmless, but the dark web is usually where the illegal stuff hides in the shadows…stuff you don’t even want to know about and is VERY dangerous to search. Both the FBI and the bad guys tend to watch who’s doing what and both can track you down if you don’t know the precautions to take.
It would be difficult to scrub the internet as we know it…damn near impossible to scrub the dark web.
Not to say that we shouldn’t stop trying, as long as we understand that it’s probably impossible to eradicate it all.

Cyber war is where you have the will to fight it; we most certainly have the means.
