Ricky --- the more "technical" description from the county is below. Maybe this will be of help.

"Salters Lake Road - approximately 3,490 feet in length (2,090 feet and 1,400 feet), being divided by a CSX Railroad Right-of-Way (100 foot right-of-way), lying east of North Century Boulevard"

the map does not shoe the part that actually goes to the lake. only the 29 to railroad and then parallel to the track going back toward century., the best I can tell from the posted picture.

>>I believe they are only talking about the part from hwy 29 to the raileoad crossing.

It's both before and after the R/R crossing, like in the map.

I have no idea what this is about but when I look at the Google Map, I see that road abuts Escambia River Lands. Are these NWFWMA (North west Florida Water Management)? Can we saw RIVERWALK BOARDWALK?

I hope the county sees a vision of conservation, ecotourism, accessibility of the river for the public. A boardwalk park. Why not? If the public pipes in here favorably in the comment section, and this it is forwarded to District Five Commissioner, that is a way to get an idea to him and to the leaders in Century.

They may have other plans I know, but if the County has the right away, the State owns the land. That is a huge major first step already accomplished.

Dreaming and Hoping :)

Things can happen but it starts with a creative vision, a dream and then a follow PLAN.

What do you think District 5?
