Or that was the excuse given. Pushers will use any excuse to improve sales, not caring how many it might kill.

Note to any: “Try it, you’ll like it or if you don’t, you can put it down,” is often a false sales pitch. People will insult those who reject dope for rejecting without trying. Either they are fools or they are depending on you being one. The effects of mind-altering drugs are well documented.

The next time someone insists you have to try something, you might suggest he try a syringeful of sulfuric acid first and see if he likes it — or don’t; some are just foolish enough to try it.

When I look at these mugshots it breaks my heart. My own daughter was an excellent student in a magnet program and graduated at the top of her class. She fell in love, got married, had a child then got her heart broken when her husband left her. She was offered meth to ease the pain (just once) and became addicted. I prayed daily for God to heal her addiction, she eventually ended up in jail. No parent wants to see their child’s mugshot like these, although it was the turning point in my daughter’s life. She got the help she needed, she has been clean over six years and now helps other addicts coming out of half way houses. It is heartbreaking for the families of these young people, and those that have never experienced it just see them as “bad people”. God saved my daughter and I pray for each of these people that someone will lead them in the right direction and away from meth, it is overwhelmingly addictive and once is all it takes to change their lives. Once they try it, “choice” is no longer an option, they crave it.

Not all cases have to deal with how the person was raised and in what kind of home. Sometimes it’s truly about CHOICES we make. Sometimes these CHOICES
continue to happen due to lack of punishment from the system. A simple slap on the wrist or snitching on someone to make an even bigger bust. Some come from family that have “connections” because of wealth. If there are no consequences for their actions there will simply be no change. Addiction is being selfish. Putting a drug addiction over children and loved ones. At the moment it’s about the person and how to get their fix. It doesn’t matter who or what they hurt along the way. From neglecting and endangering their children or even stealing from loved ones. It’s ALL a selfish CHOICE.

Meth is a terrible drug that once an individual is on they are usually on for life, and a short one at that. The punishment for selling or manufacturing should be no less than a life sentence or even the death penalty.The same sentence the users are given once they start using. All recreational drugs have a side effect that changes ones life to some extent but meth seems to be the one drug that is doing more damage these days. It is time we start getting serious about the drug problem in this country. Unlike the days when Ronald Reagan declared “War on Drugs” and in doing so our government placed restrictions on law abiding citizens while the cutting deals with drug lords in South America. We the law abiding, Contributing, Deplorables, need to stand up and demand that our laws be changed so the distributor of these poisons meet the punishment they deserve.

Someone commented on here and said “it doesn’t search you out….” Well, yes actually “it” does.

These people need the word of God! People make bad decisions without God…sick, sad, evil, stupid decisions. Temptation can still reach Godly people, but with God you have the support and the strength it takes to resist it! The Lord is still in the miracle working business for those who believe. I’ve witnessed it and experienced it. Praying for these folks tonight. They need it more than they need anything else.
