You suggested that some cops just shoot people without justification and even their own cameras show they didn’t have justification sometimes. Well, let me tell you an interesting fact. Those body cameras are wore in fixed positions are the field of view is limited. I wear one every day that I’m on duty. I have forgot to turn my body camera off on more than one occasion after a call and went to tinkle. From the sound, it’s clear what I’m doing, but fortunately, you can’t see my private parts or the toilet.

Depends on the weakling Judge in this county. Too many get-aways with their crime and not enough put-aways. I agree with most of you – shoot them dead and leave them where they were standing.

They can. Many do. The problem is that sometimes their own cameras show they weren’t provoked or otherwise justified. This makes folks distrust the officers. This makes life more dangerous for all officers with folks worrying that the policeman stopping them may be about to blow them away. Some think, “I better shoot first,” and an officer just wanting to let them know about a low tire dies.

I’m with Bill on this one. I’m sorry all law officers can’t shoot to kill and be done with it.
Once this idea caught on, the officers wouldn’t be in danger and neither would we. Yeah, I know, we don’t live in that kind of country.

Should have shot him dead – he is a rabid repeat offender and in a split second he was hell bent on ending the trooper’s life.
