Need to let all who want's the junk take it, maybe it will start looking a little better there. And the Town of Century really needs to fine the owners for not cleaning it up. By local and county codes, the structures are deemed illegal and should be abated because they pose a threat to human life. As I read it, each day creates a separate offense which can impose a $500 fine and 60 day jail term.While the pen is in hand writing up charges for Mr. Pace, lets start beefing up accountability for getting that place cleaned up. I have visited with residents down Front Street and they are still faced with the mill's fence leaning over on their property and are constantly cleaning up debris off of their property coming from the mill.
