>>Why does ESCAMBIA COUNTY have to handle this for a City election? They do not do that for Pensacola CITY election. Why,Why? Someone tell me the legality of this.

Because Century can't run an election nearly as cheap....they don't have legal expertise, own voting machines, etc.

The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections *DOES* supervise Pensacola City Elections (council, etc).

Vote by mail is the way to go!!!!! you get the ballot fill it out in your own time, do not have to explain who you voted for or why. Price of a stamp, drop it in the mail. You can track it on line to see if it arrived or was tabulated. Once you are in the system, ballots come to your home every time and you can take your time researching the candidate and not be swayed by some one's opinion, nor peer pressure or the crowd or folks in line. Secret Ballot as it should be. You are allowed to be smart!!!and choose!
You know some one at the poll will ask who you are voting for..well it's none yer..unless you want to tell...then if it doesn't work out..oh well
There is always another election.

Century needs good leadership.
There are many types of leaders in a community, some are pastors, teachers, good neighbors and so on but some realize what government's responsibility and power can be.
I see that in Councilman Stead.
I think he realizes that and we are lucky he has taken this step forward.
Hope the other voters recognize this and don't make this a popularity contest necessarily. We will know in less than a week, whether the voters can chose a good councilman or just choose on the basis that someone throws a good party.
I think a lot is pivoting on this election whether Century makes it as an incorporated town or not.
