Advice to anyone crossing the train track make sure you look both ways and hurry across those tracks because i was going to work one mourning and that train was going seventy miles per hour

Just like in life we all make the wrong turns and need guidance finding our way back. If while driving you get on the wrong track the RR will train you on how to get off quickly.

The only person I feel sorry for is the engineer. My husband worked for the railroad for 37 years. He knows men who hit and killed people in their cars and never got over it. The engineers heart must have stopped until he was certain that no one was injured. Think of the trauma the poor man went through. I hope the obviously drunk driver is held responsible.

An elderly aunt of mine, who was driving way past the time she should have turned in her license, drove onto a railroad crossing and got confused about what to do next.
She turned her car onto the tracks where it immediately got stuck.
Fortunately for her, and us, there was no train coming along.
Other motorists were able to get her to leave the car and a wrecker came to remove the car from the tracks to a parking lot.
No medications or alcohol were at all involved, she just was “confused”.
That was her last outing on her own as the driver.
She’s passed on years ago yet the image still sticks with us.

I am amazed at how mean hearted these people are that left such negative comments. You do not know the whole story. Often things are not as simple as they appear.
