We need to install burglar bars on the inside of the door . Then we can laugh when they kick in the door and are laying on the porch with a broken leg. I know this is rotten, but so is the creep breaking in.

The homeowner must have been a very sound sleeper to not have heard his door being kicked in. Citizens, the big box stores sell kits to beef up your door frames and cover the hinges, deadbolts,and door knobs. A worthwhile investment with all of the miscreants out there wanting to steal our possessions.
