In other words, Pres. Obama did not direct his DOJ to intervene on this until a few weeks ago....Sounds like one of his last minute "Hail Mary" moves...in light of some of his other literally last minute controversial actions, like giving the Palestinian Authority $192,000,000.00- against congress' freeze on their funding, releasing (or shortening sentences) of over a thousand inmates or gutting the "wet foot/dry foot" Cuban policy- sending 100+ Cubans BACK to Cuba who were seeking political asylum from Communist Cuba...well, it gives me pause, as I'm wondering, what was he up to by waiting til the very last minute to get his DOJ actively involved....I'm quite sure, that there's more to the story.
