@Nod- Not necessarily. Alabama is different. In court one day a defendant asked the judge for a lawyer. The judge said, ” I see your out on bond. So if you can afford to bond out, you can afford an attorney.” The defendant stated, ” Your honor, i didn’t bond myself out, my family did.” The judge replied, ” Well, your family can get you an attorney then.”
It was classic. In Alabama there is no “public defenders office”. Each defendant is evaluated individually to see who qualifies. Here, everyone automatically gets a free lawyer which their supposed to pay $50 for but is not enforced.

two of the girls look like they think it’s funny……….one looks like she’s not home. Four of the guys look their not even home, one looks like he’s trying to scare the camera guy(the camera guy is going home, you’re not) and the last guy…..well, is trying to make his eyes big or something. Really folks, it’s a mug shot and you’re a criminal, not much funny about it. Your angry face doesn’t scare anyone and I’m pretty sure your eyes will get big like that for SOMETHING in jail. Great job to our LEO’s for getting the trash cleaned up from our streets.

They made a movie with Clint Eastwood that would be nice for this occasion. IT was called Hangem High. What a disgrace that people do these things. Shame on them and all the other thieves. Decent people don’t have a chance. Now we have to pay for their lawyers and then feed and clothe them and put a roof over their heads. LEO’S keep up the good work.
