The last time the postal service changed rates they LOWERED postage from 49 to 47 cents. They just reverted back to the previous price. I think of it as a 1-year sale on postage.

Charging you more money to loose your mail.
You know, paying for and using a stamp or any other form of postage to deliver mail should be a contract on the postal system’s part to properly deliver as they were paid to do. We should be able to sue them for every misdelivered and lost letter and package we PAY them to deliver…breech of contract.

They keep raising the price of a stamp for what reason? The money they’ll get from this price hike is simply a band aid for a business that is bleeding money. I realize that a lot of people will lose their jobs if they shut down but at what point do we just say enough is enough?

Perhaps this increase will help with Cantonment mail delivery. We can count on our “mail person” to arrive anytime between 1 and 5 pm. So much for consistency and reliability!
