Several years ago, I struck and killed a pedestrian. The man literally jumped in front of my truck. It took about two years before I could drive again, mentally. The accident wasn’t my fault, but that doesn’t matter when it comes to mentally dealing with that you killed someone. Prayers to all involved, and their families.

Was he homeless. Sadly, every winter their are several homeless pedestrians who get hit by cars. I feel bad for the driver.

PEDESTRAINS wear light color clothing at night. Hold a white handkerchief in your hand. Carry a flashlight or use your phone’s “torch” light. Drivers cannot see you in the dark!!!! Headlights won’t light up dark clothing to make you visible!!!!
