difference if he hit the pole or the line,, If the line was hanging to low it was not his fault it’s the power company to blame,, he may not have known it,,What I don’t get is the comments about dangerous road,, I travel it frequently never had a problem

Accidents are common in this area the stretch they need to is from the time you either come over the bridge from Flomaton or from the south and you enter century, it’s no longer Highway 29 it’s Century Boulevard reason being residents , houses , people etc… along that strip so when it says 30 miles an hour that’s what should be followed.. that’s why so many accidents are happening! Also, you might just want to fix the sink holes preferably the one on the west side about 40 yards out right by where the accident happened( that one is just waiting to happen). Just food for thought….. Until then everyone stay safe and stay alert

I seen it happen. A 18 wheeler truck hit a hanging power line and something blew up like 3 times. I was behind the truck when it happen

How about if they just park an empty patrol car and put a real officer in the car now and then? It sure works in Pensacola.

This is such a dangerous road. It scares me to walk the sidewalk with the traffic only a few feet away at the speed they are traveling southbound. Glad that there was nobody on the sidewalk at the time. I wish the Sheriff’s office would patrol this section more closely.
