Without the church there would be no America. During the first 100 years of our country ministers were brought before congress to preach before congressional hearings. Our Nations capital is covered with quotes from the bible...a mural of Moses as the great law giver hangs in the house of Congress. The Washington monument has permanent bible versus engraved in it. The liberty bell has a verse from the book of Leviticus..our freedoms and liberties come from the bible...thers a reason why the statue of George Washington's hand is held out flat...He was taking is oath on the bible...Our government was designed to be influenced by the church and the bible but not the former to influence the latter.
