Im like you Chris I live right on Molino Road just west of Chance Road… Can’t wait for some quiet time and living on a hill some vehicles pop up going at least 70 or more. Folks are so reckless in this area with Chance Rd at the bottom of a blind hill. Wish they’d close it today!!!

I live on Sunshinehill Rd It is a very narrow old paved rd. Its about 1 mile from Molino Rd. to Crabtree Church Rd. Now for 9 mo. our little 35 mph Rd Will be full of 60 mph drivers ,Big Logging Trucks etc.Could they put some temp. speed bumps in ? Or a police car. Narrow rd. children & pups. Hidden Driveways. Mark my word, some one will be in a crash or two in this time frame. Put Temp bridge like Hwy 97 was.

Just out of curiosity….why would it take so long to replace this tiny bridge? Is the 265 day time period from the beginning of planning and engineering to the end of project or just the construction time for the bridge itself? Just wondering because I’ve read that the 3-lane 1-10 west bound part of the Escambia bay bridge span took less than 2 yrs to complete. Construction began in early 2006 and finished at the end of 2007 so if they can do that much major work in 2 yrs…maybe they need to hire those guys and get in done in about a week…lol.

Why is it going to take 12 months to replace Now? The project was only suppose to last 6 months! What the heck?

Wow, i thought it was only 6 months of bliss, now you tell me 9. Thanks so much. No more log trucks and everyone else and their grandma doing 80mph by my house. Like i said before, with all traffic diverted to Crabtree Church, i bet they do something about the speed.
Not that it matters. I’ll be thankful for the 9 months of peace and quiet.
