He gets his retirement from the city of Pensacola, and now he’ll work for a second retirement under the Florida Retirement System. Way to work the system.

Morgan is able to hire another Chief Deputy at 100k plus salary, but is unable to give Deputies a raise. The attrition rate for his administration is the highest of any other Sheriff in the past 30 years. If the public ever knew just how bad his leadership is and the damage he’s done to the agency, he never would have been elected to a second term. The distribution of hundreds of thousands of dollars in LET money to organizations such as the Pensacola Opera and the Filipino American club is criminal, but won’t be addressed by his buddy Bill Eddins. Neither organization provides any of the required programs or benefits required to receive the money.

I wonder how many deputy’s worked many years there with the hope of one day getting this position.
I know he is a good guy but this is good old boy politics at it’s blatant best.
He sure does not have any trouble getting a good job in this low paying county.

Good Ole boy can run for sheriff next time.
