Remembering back 60 years to times when my grandmother who lived in Pensacola would gather us kids and our moms all up and we'd get into the car to go up to somewhere around Bluff Springs and the old concrete (?) roadway that parts used to still parallel Hwy-29 was always, I mean ALWAYS being worked on. We'd have packed food and tea and water in the car because it was near a full day's drive up. Of course we'd stay the night with grandmother's sister and family because there was no way to make it back home before dark. Traffic delays…
