When I first heard about the rate hike & the attorney who claimed he only made a few dollars per hour on his case and used that as his (compelling evidence) I wondered how much he made on other cases along with the many other attorneys who obviously make a generous living off of the contractors. Someone has to reign in these… Dare I say “ambulance chasers”.

Attorneys fees are out of control. This ruling is a Godsend for our small company. We strive to take care of our employees, but increased insurance/workers compensation rates and outlandish attorney’s fees have put a financial strain on our company and detrimentally affected our ability to do more for our employees on the job.
This ruling is music to our ears this morning as we have been dreading the rate hike since we learned of it some weeks back. Haleluia for this display of ethics by Judge Geivers!

Great Decision by the Judge. I can prove by documents that the ins. companies talk about cost containment. They don’t do this Cost Containment Example: I can’t drive so a driver is sent to pick me up for doctors and pharmacy appointments. In my case the Ins. Company

I file a workman’s compensation claim in 2011, Three years of pain, that was never serious, enough for comp insurance agent’s to identify with, they only focused on the first site of pain described, due to Injury.
I have never filed before! And, was very disappointed with the outcome, The melious! Attack, Unbelievably! The way the insurance company! Tried to discredit me, by some 32 Plus years pass.Wow!
What did that have to do with my injury, Nothing! And yes ! I did not recieve treatment , and yes! In still in pain.
