I am the sister of Clint Hunley. He was a drug addict, indeed. However, no one deserves to die. He was a son, father, brother and friend. He believed in God even when he didn’t believe in himself. Please be respectful of his 12 year old who may one day read your comments. Don’t throw stones from the window of a glass house. This could very well be a family member of yours one day. No one is exempt from having an addict in their family.

@anne….that “poor young lady” probably shouldn’t be behind the wheel of a car if she doesn’t have the capability of being aware of her surroundings. Who, in their right mind, would drive up to a prison barrier fence? What were you going to do there? What happened, did reality click in when he tossed the package, which caused her to take off? It seems more likely that she would be participating in this to get/keep his attention. Now there is where I would say poor young lady.

This one should be fun. All the lady did was drive the Toyota. She had no idea what was in that package. So, she is guilty of reckless driving I actually feel sorry for the court appointed Attorney.

@seriously, if the deceased male was such a son, father, friend to people, maybe he should have had enough respect for them to change his ways and act like a decent human being. HE chose his way of life(unless maybe it’s a family tradition?) and only HE could change it. Nobody is born a thief, liar, murderer, or anything else. Those traits are learned and sometimes through the desperation they have, get even worse with time. I stand again in saying that while his death may be tragic to some, it still shows some sort of poetic justice and I’m glad my tax dollars won’t have to feed him for the duration of his stay in a correctional facility, only to have him return at some point.

My choices got me where I am today, and their choices put them where they are today: Dead/In jail.

They are suffering the natural consequences of their own stupidity. Introducing contraband into a correctional facility endangers the lives of the staff and inmates who are not involved in the trafficking. That synthetic MJ causes a lot of hallucinatory behavior and violent outbursts in some people – I’ve seen it first hand where I work.

Make SMART choices.

What was all the activity about this morning about 6:45? Blue lights at the gate leading to Holman, blue lights down the road, 2 state trucks at the top of the hill, and a Atmore PD car across the street from the gas station next to the college.
