Friends who have businesses and live on W Street say it is a raceway for cars and motorcycles. One who has raced on tracks in sanctioned events says that he's seen cars going more than 100 mph racing on W and motorcycles going probably faster than that. Guess is this young man hit the railroad tracks and lost control which caused him to crash into the pole, fence and cars in a repair shop lot. So Very Sad for this to be the end of a likely promising life. Hope it is a warning to others but likely won't make much difference. Prayers for the Family.
