I live across from school. I am all for building new schools for our kids but stupid choice building it next to Ransom. No one is allowed to park on our side Thank God but people who live down from us already have issues with parents parking in their neighborhoods. I am just sad this area is no longer the farm community it once was. All those beautiful trees cut down is depressing.

In shock is correct, the traffic on Kingsfield during school pick up and drop off is terrible. The road is blocked and parents are pulled off to the side parked in side streets and driveways attempting to avoid the drop off lane. I can only imagine what will occur on this narrow two lane road when there are two schools with 2 different start and end times. The first Ransom location on Muskogee road would have made a better choice for the elementary school.

Wow, in shock. Some people are never happy! The locations make the most sense for the geographic if the students they will be catering. My goodness gracious.

The locations!!! Who decides the locations?!?

9 Mile Road, a major corridor for traffic and it’s only getting worse with the Navy Federal traffic!
Kingsfield Elementary, Going right beside an all ready crowded middle school traffic regardless if they start at different times or not but just the construction and Ransom starting and ending their day no lights in either direction at two BAD intersections just seems like poor planing, I don’t know.
And I did read that the new middle school is supposed to help out with the Ransom over crowding situation, just think about it folks.

Thank the Lord for the 1/2 penny sales tax monies.
The state has decreased funding to counties for construction and without the LOST option none of this would be possible.

Pleased the ECSB has the good sense to approve a school name that lets us know where the school is located.

Thank you for your service to the district and all who work for our children and grandkids.
