When I went blueberry picking earlier this year I was surprised that the speed limit leading to the farm was 50 miles per hour. There was practically no traffic - true - but with so many vehicles running off the roads something must be wrong. Of course it also could be that drivers stay on their cell phones texting away and loose control. Maybe the speed limits on these roads are too high.
