Some kids aren't ready nor have a desire for jobs like that but there are a lot of construction going on in the area. Wouldn't it be beneficial for them to learn how to operate heavy duty machinery? Whatever happened to that program? I think many students were interested in that and it just seemed to go away. Also, there was at one time a Training Center planned for Law Enforcement, Fire Dept, EMTs and other agencies and it had funding of Millions of dollars from several groups but then it went away when sheriffs changed. Wonder if this may help get that going again? Sure seemed like a great idea.
