I am glad Morgan was re-elected as well. I have approached his office twice and was they responded same day on my issue. I tried with McNesby years ago and they threaten to arrest me if I kept complaining. We don’t need anymore Sheriff’s Office retreads running for sheriff. I will support him and contribute to his gen election campaign to keep him in office. We love you on the north end David!

I may be the only one, but in looking at some of the margins, I have to wonder if our state legislature did us a disservice by eliminating run-off elections (after the primary) several years ago. For example, Mr. Gaetz won with only 33% of the vote; Mr. Bergosh won with 40%. I’m sure there were/are good reasons for not having run-offs, but no longer does the majority decide in some of these elections.

Disappointed with morgan’s sheriff department because when my son died his department did keep us informed of the investigation because he was married, but only six weeks. We supported him for 25 years and didn’t hear a thing from his officers. When his wife moved out with things belonged to me the deputy wouldn’t do anything except tell me.to get a lawyer. Ery disappointed with him and his office.

I hope you understand he lost the primary nomination, so John Johnson won’t be on the ballot again this go-round.

There is no evidence he would have pushed for a police state.
No evidence having worked for the federal government in law enforcement would just like work in Air force Security Police would not automatically tell us how Thelbert (David) would do.

Pensacola has its own police department so the Sheriff’s Department isn’t likely to bother you too badly no matter who is in office.

I feel silly having to state this, by Escambia County is doing with with David Morgan at the helm. I am not ready to see the city of Pensacola reduced to some strange police state. You can’t keep blaming the sheriff’s dept. for all the drug dealers, they do arrest them, but before the officers finish their paper work the system has let them back on the street, Why is it the people ask the Sheriff what are you going to do about all the young kids in the streets at night selling drugs etc. etc. Well for starters people they are your kids, it’s your place to keep them off the streets not the Sheriff’s Dept.

The Russians must have hacked Escambia county’s voting machines. How else could Morgan have gotten reelected with the lousy job it sounds like he has done. I think he has done a good job. Would Johnson have been better? I do not know. I DO AGREE THAT MOST VOTERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE REALLY VOTING FOR.
