Wonderful! Keep praying for our LEO community.

Here is a link I posted under another thread on this site. It's about some responsible reporting on the cops shooting blacks matter, and directly refutes some of what President Obama said. Just because he said it doesn't make it true! Research things - think for yourself - don't believe it just because some politician said it. Not Obama bashing, just stating what I think.

REGARDING:
"i hope the President sleeps well at night knowing he helped stir up this nonsense by getting on national tv and “validating” the false narrative that the police are all racist and are gunning down innocent black men solely because the color of their skin. Instead of uniting the country, he is intent on dividing it."

He tried to calm it. Some of what he said:

"Now let me just say that we have extraordinary appreciation and respect for the vast majority of police officers who put their line on the lives every day. They have a dangerous job. It is a tough job. And as I’ve said before, they have a right to go home to their families, just like anybody else on the job."

"And there are gonna be circumstances where they’re gonna have to make split second decisions. We understand that."

"But when we see data that indicates disparities in how African Americans and Latinos may be treated in various jurisdictions around the country, then it’s incumbent on all of us to say we are better than this. We are better than this".

And

“So to all of law enforcement, I want to be very clear: we know you have a tough job. We mourn those in uniform who are protecting us who lose their lives.”

And all of it at:

Sending up prayers for all the families that have lost loved ones due to the senseless acts of others. It really amazes me how our President is blamed for every thing that goes on in these United States. There was racism going on in this country long before he took office and will continue long after he leaves office. To lay blame on him makes about as much sense as blaming Donald Trump for the police taking the life of Alton Sterling. What's really scary to me is knowing that I live in a world of irrational people who are not able to think for themselves, who will jump on the bandwagon of any Tom, Dick or Donald.

I knew Officer Patrick Zimmaripa. He worked for the police department on NAS Pensacola before he moved to Dallas. He was a very outgoing, funny, caring man. I'm still in shock over this. It's like a bad dream that I keep thinking I'm gonna wake up from. He was protecting the rights of the people that were protesting AGAINST him and was murdered by one of them. i hope the President sleeps well at night knowing he helped stir up this nonsense by getting on national tv and "validating" the false narrative that the police are all racist and are gunning down innocent black men solely because the color of their skin. Instead of uniting the country, he is intent on dividing it. That is a poor excuse for a leader. Rest in peace Patrick, you will forever be missed my brother!
