I live off Hwy 297A South of Kingsfield Road: There is a power surge at least once per month and sometimes more. These surges have caused damage to our electronics. We are getting really sick of repairing and replacing products. We know there has been a surge if we are away – clocks are flashing when we get home. By the way, we have underground power and phone.

I live off Kingsfield and Chemstrand road, the power flickered on and off for about 10 minutes or but never went completely out. We have underground power and it seems we have more outages than places with power lines and we live less than two miles away from the power plant, so be careful what you wish for is all I’m saying.

I live in Cottage Hill, have been for decades, and it seems like these outages are getting worse. Family and friends that live in town or in the southern part of the county do not have these outages nearly as much. Is Gulf Power planning on upgrading us to buried lines any time soon?

That water alarm sounded like a car alarm going off. We are across 29 and it sounded like it was in our back yard!
