Still, a traffic light to sit and watch change can be great entertainment. I especially enjoy when the light seems to see a car coming and go from green to red just to stop it. They need to see how low cost housing brings in bad elements. They need to talk with city police about the crime. One cannot walk many of the streets in Smyrna at night. For five years, it will be kept up, then the tax breaks end and you will have squalor. Just visit Franklin Road in Marietta, Georgia where the city was forced to buy up what were high end apartments that fell into ruin and crime. You can look it all up in the police reports. For a thirty pieces of silver, Century is asking to become a toilet. I would look at campaign contributions and who donated them too. It is always about the quick dollar. It gives people hope and the opportunity to be proud of where they call home. It's already a challenge to exit that intersection and not get. And while your at it.....PLEASE pave West Hwy.4, it's terrible road to travel on.
