Richard, the phrase "Planned Parenthood" is not synonymous with the term "abortion". I'm not 100% on these numbers, but I think abortion is only like 3 to 5% of what PP does. Some percentage of that number are medically necessary abortions for fetuses that are not viable so even from the standpoint of an extremists religious fanaticisms, not all abortions are murder and those are necessary for the health of the patient.
All that being said, what you consider to be an unborn child, from a legal standpoint is a fetus, not a human life. If you care about the Constitution, Liberty and for patients and doctors to have privacy for any medical issue then you shouldn't want to use government to get in-between a patient and their doctor for any reason.
I know the common reply here would be "what about the rights of the unborn child"? The fetus has no rights and has no social security number or any identification.
I get the argument from a religious perspective, but if you try to manipulate government to conform to your religious beliefs, then you are denying other their choices of religous freedom.
Again, not all abortions are done for the same reasons, not all aborted fetus would have gone to term and patients get to have a right to privacy and we should all be allow freedom from anyone's religious oppression being used to manipulate government or laws.
I'm not saying you don't have a right to believe whatever you believe, I'm just saying everyone should have the right to make their own choices regarding health care.

Sigh... A 12 week old fetus isn't a "baby"... It cannot survive under any circumstance outside of the womb, therefore it isn't "murder"... You are only going for shock value by trying to paint it in those terms. Most abortions are performed well before the 21st week of gestation. Everyone with a brain knows this proposed legislation was an end around run attempt to shut down abortion providers, and certainly not any "attempt to improve safety" for women. The Supreme Court rightly agreed in the Texas case.
